Download Origin

Two ways to play: the Windows client with Java bundled and auto-updates, or the cross-platform jar if you already have Java.

Windows (recommended)

  1. 1. Download the client below and unzip it anywhere (your Desktop is fine).
  2. 2. Open the Origin folder and run Origin.exe. If Windows asks, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. 3. It fetches the latest client and keeps itself up to date. No Java needed.

Any platform (jar)

  1. 1. Install Java 11 or newer, free from adoptium.net.
  2. 2. Download Origin.jar below and double-click it (or right-click, Open with, Java).
